Learn. Solve. Get Lucky.
This year’s Tech*Ed theme is Learn – Solve – Grow. Playing off of that theme, I’ve created a little game called Learn – Solve – Get Lucky. Wanna know more? Good.
Pretty much, my game is the unofficial Tech*Ed Puzzle Challenge. Some folks from Microsoft’s PuzzleHunt Advisory Committee created the questions just for the competition! It’s pretty fun.
Here’s the cool part … I’m giving away a Samsung Portable Media Center! It's sitting right here next to me so you get to walk away from the conference with it!
How do I enter? First of all, find me! Or email me. I have cards to direct you to the link, but if we have a difficult time connecting in person, I’d be happy to email you the link directly. (However, you must be a Tech*Ed attendee.)
Who is eligible? Any non-Microsoft employees attending this year’s Tech*Ed. But Microsoft employees are encouraged to collaborate with non-Microsoft attendees on the puzzles.
Isn’t this just a sleazy recruiting push to generate leads / potential interview candidates? Believe it or not … no, it’s not. I created this game so I would have an excuse to connect and talk with people. My goal at this year’s Tech*Ed is to get out and meet the technical community. I want to answer your questions. I want to address your concerns. And sure, I want to grow my network. But my hope with the Puzzle Challenge is that you’ll have fun solving the puzzles …. And working together with others to solve those puzzles. None of the information I gather will be used on the back-end for recruiting purposes.
So anyway, if you are interested in entering:
Find me
or
Email me
and
Tell others
You’ll have fun. And have a chance to win a cool prize.
