for you, who have not attend any PDC before i will discuss a little what is PDC. The story's about the announcement can be read in any other blog. Everybody is blogging about PDC and microsoft ships thousands new products on PDC.
1.) PDC is very expensive. Travel, fee, parking and so one can be more that 5000 $
2.) PDC= professional developers conference (in thinking of microsoft)
3) PDC is dark, which is hard if your timezone is GMT like, Your body says its time to sleep.
4) a lot of people around there, which are 99% male
5) PDC is in LA (California, USA, governor Schwarzenegger which comes from austria where i life)
6) PDC is when microsoft have something to tell (not every year)
7) Things are shown on PDC must not fit into buyable products ( do you know hailstorm?)
8) PDC gives you enough free t-shirts with sensfull comments on it, for at least on year
9) PDC doesnt change your live
10) PDC gives you really a idea what you dont know
